It sits on the mantel and puffs away all evening. My kids ask to switch it on before the tree lights.

Heavier and better made than I expected. Feels like a proper object, not a novelty.
Six hours on one fill and the whole hallway smells of fir. Quiet enough to leave on during dinner.
Bought two, kept one. Wrapping was lovely so I gave it exactly as it arrived.
The window glow is warm, not blue. That was the detail that sold me.
Shipped the next day and arrived in four. Auto-off means I stopped worrying about it.
